Awww poor you Melly, that is so horrid.

Am praying the appointment went very well and you have a nice new tooth, are they replacing it?

Sorry the family isn't supportive that is painful...you have us though!

Love,

Sad Hi Thank you

Nope left feeling rather fed upBlink

Got a abscess yet again, along wiht a Fractured tooth and broken filling ,because of all my new health issues lupus /RAand steriods etc hes had to refer me to Guys Dental hospital it will be a root canal treatment yet again.

and becuase i now have history of difficult to treat problems of recurring infections immuno supresant medication he feels out of his depth grr.
guess i undertsand but thats it.

so dentist did Urgent referral for me also gave me copy in case gets lost!
all other teeth fine.
its at front double tooth he doesnt want me to lose it as glad sore face swollen needs infection control treatment, under hospital consultant specialist care.
could ofc ried had to make me self laugh so distracted myself chatting to nice dental nurse.

reason guys is makes sense as they got my upto date records as go RA clinic there anyway.
hubby says he will come with me as long as i get notice.
so expecting call or letter soon.

meantime 7 day course antibioctics.

Hi Melly,

I'm so sorry for you that it's causing you so much bother and you weren't able to have it sorted out today. I suppose it is best to have it treated at Guys but I'm sure you would have liked it over and done with today.

Let us know when you get an appointment and in the meantime, hope you can find some relief.

Oh dear, that is so awful Melly.

I hope the anti-bios work and you're not in too great pain. Best to refer you to the experts but very frustrating for you..

Love,

Amanda

Thanks i took look at guys dental hospital website aprently its normal that if 1 gets several abscesses that must be referred for specialist care, and if have auto immune or other illnesses of serious nature along with immuno supresaant meds then tis the norm so now at least dont feel dentist was over reacting!!!

drat and blast.
not to worry it wont be pleasnt but got be seen to.
hope hear soon as supposed be dealt with asap.
maybe il ring up tomorrow see if they got referral and when il be seen.

swelling is affecting my right eye lips grr.
why i have be so complex grr.

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time Melly, and hope all goes well with your dental treatment at Guys.

For the pain you could try applying oil of cloves on your gum's, it works as a mild anesthetic and should ease some of the pain.

sending you gentle cyber hugs,

love,

Barbara

Hi
Update today

I contacted Hospital myself
replied straight away my referral been forwarded to Kings

Im to be seen by speicliast team care

They deal with immuno supresses patients, repeat asbcesses and also auto immune discease afflicted patients.
so hope not to long.
they are to give specialist opionion feedback to own dentist and do root canal treatment under ifnection control for me.
they wont have any notes only from visits as emergency for previous abscesses.

as guys have them grr.
so il have pass on all info they dont have.

painful swollen lol still chirpy.
